At Cottonwhistle Lane, everything I make is stitched with a sense of passion and connection.

I’ve always loved making things—all kinds of things—but sewing toys and curious, whimsical creatures is where my heart truly sings.

When I sew, I feel close to my Grandma—the one who first placed a needle in my hand and showed me how to be bold. She encouraged me to be fearless, and to always follow the thread of my imagination.

Cottonwhistle Lane also connects me to my children, whose wild ideas and boundless faith in me constantly push my creativity. (I'm still chasing approval for a certain llama design—my youngest is a tough critic!)

And honestly? It connects me to the child inside me, too. She’s a handful. She's sometimes tender and dreamy, sometimes loud and demanding, but always a reminder of why I started creating in the first place.

As a mum, I value toys that are meaningful and made to last. Every creature I sew is one-of-a-kind, crafted with care, and carries a bit of my heart in its seams.
